ADMISSION DETAILS The craftsman training is provided with a view to prepare semi skilled workers for the Industry. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION The Educational qualification varies from class 8th pass to class 10th pass depending on the trades. DURATION OF TRAINING      The duration of training varies from one to two years in this Institute EXAMINATION     The trainees after completion of craftsmen of craftsmen training appear in the all India trade test to get National Trade Certificate (NTC) awarded by the National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT), GOVT OF INDIA , which is recognized for the purpose of recruitment to the subordinate technical posts at the shop floor level within the country as well as abroad. The state government through industrial training institute impart institutionalized vocational training scheme, which is one of the flagship programmes run by the DGE&T. APPRENTICE     After getting NTC, one year on the job apprenticeship training is given to the ITI passed outs through Industries with stipend. APPLICATION FORM How to Apply for Admission:- For admission in the ITI, notification will be issued by DET in leading News papers and Media, The application should be submitted on line through the web site        www.skilltraining.gov.in  ADMISSION PROCEDURE After  Processing the application the candidate will be called for admission counselling   Admission will be given strictly on Merit basis ,and as per the reservation policy by the Tamilnadu government as applicable time to time.
